Subarnarekha Flood Recedes But Misery Continues In Baliapal: 120 Villages Affected | Argus News ଧିରେ ଧିରେ କମୁଛି ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣରେଖା ନଦୀର ଜଳସ୍ତର | ଏବେବି ବନ୍ୟା ଯୋଗୁଁ ବାଲିଆପାଳ ବ୍ଲକର ୯ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ୧୨୦ ଅଧିକ ଗାଁ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ | ନଦୀର ଉପର ମୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ଏବଂ ଝାଡଖଣ୍ତର ଗାଲୁଡିହି ବ୍ୟାରେଜରୁ ପାଣି ଛଡା ଯିବା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଜଳସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଥିଲା। ରାଜଘାଟରେ ବିପଦ ସଙ୍କେତ ୧୦.୩୬ ମିଟର ରହିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଗତକାଲି ରାତି ୧୨ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଜଳସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇ ୧୧, ୭୨ ମିଟର ପହଞ୍ଚିଥିଲା। ଏବେ ଧିରେ ଧିରେ କମୁଛି, ଦିନ ୨ ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଜଳସ୍ତର କମି ୧୦,୭୨ମିଟର ରେ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି। While the water level of the Subarnarekha river is gradually receding at Rajghat, the flood situation in Baliapal block remains grim. Over 120 villages across 9 panchayats are still submerged, affecting more than 60,000 people. Although the administration has deployed SRC boats, ODRAF, and Fire Services, residents of Lokpal village in Jalakunda Panchayat complain that they haven't received basic food supplies like flattened rice (Chuda).
