Speaking directly with the District Magistrate and the Mayor via phone, the PM took stock of the ground reality as the Ganga river continues to flow above the danger mark. He directed officials to conduct relief and rescue operations on a war footing and ensured that food, drinking water, and healthcare reach those affected.
