Currently, 22 gates are open, discharging 3.85 lakh cusecs of water, while the inflow has stabilized at 3.73 lakh cusecs. At Mundali, the water flow is around 6.5 lakh cusecs, which is well within the safety limits. Authorities have stated that the water level will drop further by August 3rd, and there is no plan to open more gates.
