Dukura recorded the highest rainfall of over 183mm, followed by Kabatghai (157mm) and Barehipani (154mm). The incessant rain has caused waterfalls and rivers within the sanctuary to swell, posing a risk to low-lying areas. The Similipal Forest Department has issued an advisory for residents and officials to stay alert as more rain is predicted in the coming days.
