Chakra Bula Ekadashi Special Rituals at Puri Srimandir Sudarshan Circumambulation | Argus News On the auspicious occasion of Chakra Bula Ekadashi, special rituals are being performed at Srimandir in Puri. Following the Madhyahna Dhupa rituals, Daitapati servitors will take Mahaprabhu’s supreme weapon, Chakraraj Sudarshan, on a grand procession around the four Ashrams and the city of Puri. According to beliefs, this holy circumambulation purifies the town, warding off negative energies and diseases. Additionally, after the Sandhya Dhupa ritual, Chunara servitors will carry the sacred Mahadipa to the top of the Srimandir Amla Bedha to pray for the well-being of Gajapati Maharaja.
