Bhadrak Flood Hits Farmers: Crops Destroyed, Demand Loan Waiver & Relief | Argus News Recurrent floods in the Baitarani and Salandi rivers have caused severe crop damage in Bhadrak district's Tihidi block. More than 1,800 farmers in Shyamsundarpur panchayat have lost their entire Kharif paddy crop to floodwaters. Left helpless and unable to register for mandi sales, hundreds of farmers gathered at Bhadrak to submit a memorandum to the District Collector.
