This sacred drink, prepared with ingredients like cheese, milk, cream, and spices, is offered in nine large terracotta pots that reach the height of the deities' lips (Adhara). Interestingly, this Pana is meant for the 'Ashariris' (invisible spirits) and guardian deities who accompany the Lord during the Rath Yatra. Following the offering, the pots are broken on the chariots to allow the spirits to attain salvation.
